Mark writes, "Just wanted to send you these pics of some hybrid luna / selene I reared this summer. Had great results!

"Didn't notice any images in your hybrid section of the website for this cross. Will send you a pic of the female (bottom of page) when one hatches. One thing I can say is they have certainly a weird yellowish tinge and are HUGE! Little remains of the selene traits except for size."

Mark writes, "Am sending some pics of 2 hybrid females - hope you can use either/both of them. Chose these two since they looked the most different with inherited characteristics - one leaning toward selene, the other luna.

"You may want to include in my page the observations on hybrid female infertility. The females were barren, i.e., carried no eggs. I never had a chance to see if the males were fertile or not - ran out of time since winter kicked in suddenly later that October. I was shooting for a 3rd brood that year...

"Can tell you my male was from Ocean County, NJ, and 2nd summer gen (called from the wild). He just chose to mate with the selene instead of the pure lunas also set up out back."
