Sphingidae of the Bahamas

Although I believe these "tribal" checklists contain only species within the Bahamas, there are probably some omissions, and there are probably many improper entries.

The list should be reasonably reliable, however, as it is from Pierre Schmit's Liste Systématique for the Dominican Republic.

I have made a few revisions based on internet sources:
Replaced Cocytius antaeus with Cocytius antaeus medor
Replaced Perigonia lusca lusca with Perigonia lusca interrupta
Added, based on specimen type locality: Protambulyx carteri, Cautethia exuma, Xylophanes sauna .

Protambulyx carteri has been equated with strigilis, James P. Tuttle, 2007, based on rearing results.
