Sometmes there is an elongated basal dash that runs from the body, through midpoint of am line, almost to subrenifrom spot, as in the September 1, images posted above. At other times there is not even a hint of said dash.

Note grey, feathery appearance of wing veins in forewing postmedian area, against a lighter background.
