Sphingidae of Jamaica

Although I believe these "tribal" checklists contain only species within Jamaica, there are probably some omissions, and there may be a few improper entries.

Reser Ladislaus reports starred items are among the thirty-eight species recorded at Spring Garden, near Reading, west of Montego, 1992-1997.

Enyo latipennis has been given full species status by Kitching and Cadiou, 2000.

Theo Douma of Netherlands was vacationing in Jamaica and sends this picture of Manduca brontes brontes, with identification confirmed by Ian J. Kitching, Jean Haxaire and James A. Tuttle.
