Larry Valentine has a keen interest in reptiles, but also enjoys other aspects of nature. He is a WLSS member who has recently moved to the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. His home is in Fazenda Pedra Negra in the Serra da Mantiqueira, elevation approximately 3500 feet in southern Minas Gerais near the border between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. He has written, "Remember I am a reptile man first, but enjoy everything and will document and help the best I can."

Larry lives on the Fazenda Pedra Negra ranch in Itanhandu.
