Butterfly and Moth Websites

I am Bill Oehlke, and I maintain many butterfly and moth websites which may be of interest to you.

The websites are regularly upgraded as new information and images arrive. Many new Sphingidae pictoral checklists have been added this summer and fall.

You probably contacted me at one time or another for a silkmoth or butterfly livestock order or you might have had a question about rearing or identification of a butterfly or moth or a caterpillar.

I send out updates-to-my-websites about once a year to those who have contacted me. If you wish to be removed from my mailing list, please indicate and I will remove your email address from my list.

Visiting some of the sites will also bring up a page of over one hundred other insect related sites. If you are not interested in visiting them, just click the X in the top right hand corner of your monitor screen to delete the list. You can return to this page by using your browser "Back" button.

Two caterpillar host plant indices are also under construction:

The John Campbell Hostplant Index

The Melody Lytle Hostplant Index

Ron White Hostplant Index

Eventually these indices will be linked from appropriate specific lepidoptera species files on the World's Largest Saturniidae Site, Sphingidae of the Americas site, North American Catocala Site, and Caterpillars Too! site.

Additional Hostplant Indices will also be created over the years. If you wish to be advised of updates, please send me an email. Bill Oehlke
