The hybrid specimen depicted above is a result of the pairing and larvae depicted below. Congratulations to Robert Vuattoux on successful rearing of an unusual hybrid. Perhaps many of the Epiphora and Hyalophora can be hybridized.

We hope Bob is successful in getting an emergent moth in the spring. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time a cross between Epiphora and Hyalophora has been taken to final instar larva.
