DISTRIBUTION:

Euryglottis guttiventris flies in Bolivia: [La Paz: Murillo,] Río Songo [Zongo], Garlepp; [Sud Yungas,] Chulumani, 2000m; "Charaplaya", 65°W 16°S, 1300m; La Paz: Murillo, Río Zongo, 750m; Cochabamba: Cochabamba; Yunga del Espíritu Santo.

FLIGHT TIMES:

Euryglottis guttiventris adults are on the wing in June and December.

ECLOSION:

Pupae probably wiggle to surface from subterranean chambers just prior to eclosion.

SCENTING AND MATING:

Females call in the males with a pheromone released from a gland at the tip of the abdomen.
