Mexico, and it is also reliably
reported from
Nicaragua: Zelaya, Rio San Juan; and
Costa Rica: Guanacaste, Puntarenas, Lemon,
Alajuela, Heredia, San Jose, Carthage.

Note the markedly broader forewing submarginal band between veins M1 and M2. In Protambulyx euryalus the band is not nearly as broad.
