DISTRIBUTION:

Trogolegnum pseudambulyx flies in Mexico (specimen type locality).

ECLOSION:

Pupae probably wiggle to surface from subterranean chambers just prior to eclosion.

SCENTING AND MATING:

Females call in the males with a pheromone released from a gland at the tip of the abdomen.
